The Siena Collge women's water polo team was upset by Iona College, 13-3. Iona improves to 11-1 on the season witht the win while Siena falls to 1-8 overall.

The Gaels opened the game with a 5-0 lead before Erica Strein solved netminder Jenny Shoemaker (Longwood, FL). Iona took a 5-1 lead into the half and then exploded for six goals in the third quarter.

Katrina Fielding (Orlando, FL) led the Gaels offensive attack, tallying three goals. Shannon McGady (Chicago, IL), Megan Jimenez (San Ramon, CA) and Aimee Bryers (Glenside, PA) each had two goals in the win. Strein scored twice for the Saints. Shoemaker stopped 10 shots while her counterpart Lauren Morrison registered 16 saves.
