Siena freshman Aubrey Bobo was named MAAC Rookie of the Week today after helping the Saints to a pair of MAAC wins and the #1 seed in the upcoming conference Tournament. Bobo won the Rookie of the week award twice this season and was named MAAC Offensive Player of the Week twice.

Bobo averaged 4.89 kills and 3.22 digs per game as the Saints won a share of the MAAC regular-season title for the first time since 1995. She registered her eighth double-double in the team's 3-0 road win over Iona, registering 18 kills and 21 digs. She had 10 kills and compiled a .500 hitting percentage in the team's convincing sweep of Marist to end the regular-season.

Bobo and the Saints will play Iona Sunday in the semifinals of the MAAC Tournament in Fairfield, Conn. Siena is the #1 seed in the Tournament, Iona is the #4 seed.
