Saints Clinch MAAC Tournament Berth With Senior Day Win

Burgandy McCurty made her final home match a memorable one, rounding out a 60-kill weekend with 27 kills, and Siena's defense amassed 103 digs in a 3-2 (22-25, 25-17, 25-15, 24-26 and 15-8) Senior Day victory over title contender Niagara. With the win, the Saints earned the right to defend their MAAC title, claiming one of the four spots in this year's MAAC Championship to be held Nov. 22-23 in Buffalo. More [+]

McCurty's Career Day Powers Siena Past Canisius, 3-1

Burgandy McCurty set a career-high with 33 kills and she did it in just four sets as Siena blasted Canisius 3-1 (23-15, 25-16, 25-17 and 25-14) in a key MAAC match Saturday in Loudonville. McCurty, Sivertson Earn Weekly MAAC Volleyball Honors

Burgandy McCurty has been named MAAC Player of the Week for the third time this season and 11th time in her career while Sarah Sivertson earned her second MAAC Rookie of the Week award Monday. The duo helped guide Siena to a perfect MAAC weekend with wins over Fairfield and Saint Peter's. More [+]
