The Siena College Women's Tennis team completed its third annual summer tennis programs this week. Over 50 children, ages 4 to 18, took part in the free clinics and tournaments that were offered from May 14 - July 31.
The morning clinics and weekend tournaments were free to family of faculty, staff, administrators of Siena and the local community. Adults were able to take part in lessons and mixed doubles play every Monday and Tuesday evening; including an evening of Cardio Tennis.
"We are very happy with the continued growth of our program after the third year," coach O'Brien said. "The program is fully funded by donations. We greatly appreciate the many participants that are able to make donations to the women's tennis team to help cover the costs of the program. We hope to expand it to three days a week next year."
