Siena's Jeremy Deuel and Sarah Mayer have been selected as the MAAC Men's and Women's Tennis Players of the Week.

Deuel keyed a pair of MAAC road wins for the Saints this past weekend picking up two singles wins and two doubles victories. At top singles, he posted an impressive 6-1 and 6-4 win over Loyola's Scott Gannon after pairing with teammate Jose Loren for an 8-1 victory at #2 doubles in the Saints' 4-3 win over the Greyhounds. In Siena's 4-3 win at Saint Peter's the next day, he defeated Serge Iguel 6-1 and 7-5 at #1 singles and again teamed with Loren for an 8-3 win at #2 doubles.

Mayer earned two dominating victories at top singles for the Saints this week, dropping just one game in four sets of work. She defeated Caitlyn Day of Loyola 6-1 and 6-0 after she and teammate Lauren Moy posted an 8-2 doubles win in Siena's 4-3 triumph over the Greyhounds. At Saint Peter's, she knocked off Vanessa Pangikas 6-0 and 6-0 at #1 singles for Siena's only point of the match.

The MAAC Men's and Women's Tennis Championships will take place from April 18th through April 20th at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, New York.
