Women's Tennis Falls in Fall Dual Match Finale

Sarah Mayer and Jasleen Sandhu held the top two spots, but Sacred Heart won the remaining four singles matches and took two of three doubles competitions to claim a 5-2 win over Siena Saturday in Fairfield, Conn. Mayer defeated Kate Donnelly 6-2 and 6-0 at top singles and Sandhu won 6-1 and 6-1 at #2 singles. The Pioneers won the remaining four matches in straight sets. Mayer and Sandhu teamed for an 8-4 win over Nicole Betz and Julianne Kasinow at top doubles, but Sacred Heart won the point with wins at #2 and #3 doubles. Siena wraps up its fall season with individual play in the ITA Regionals in Philadelphia next weekend. Sacred Heart 5, Siena 2 Doubles Singles
