Saints Impress at Albany Invitational
Sept. 29, 2004
The Siena College women's tennis team participated in a pair of matches Sunday at the annual UAlbany Invitational. Though no team scores were kept, the Saints scored several individual and double victories. "This was the best we have played all season," Head Coach Tim O'Brien said. "I was really proud of all our players and came out of the matches excited about the rest of the season." Denisa Hluchova, Julia Lebedev, Karina Davis and Meghan Slenkamp each won both their individual matches on the afternoon. Brooke Fisher scored an impressive come-from-behind win in the match with Montreal to help the Saints to a sweep. Siena has added a pair of matches to its fall schedule, which resumes Wednesday, October 6 at Sacred Heart. Siena will take on Hartford October 13 in Connecticut and conclude its fall slate at Holy Cross the next day. Results vs. Montreal Doubles
