 Women Roll Rider for Key MAAC Win

MAAC Player of the Week Sarah Mayer posted a 6-0 and 6-0 win at top singles setting the stage for a dominating 6-1 win by the Siena women's tennis team over Rider Tuesday in Lawrenceville. The Saints only loss came at #3 singles where freshman Lauren Moy was forced to retire after taking the first set. Karina Davis earned a 6-2 and 6-2 win over Danielle Morse at #2 singles and Jessica Asselin coasted to a 6-0 and 6-1 win at #4 singles. Sophomores Lauren Garbade and Dinka Keric each won convincingly at #5 and #56 singles respectively. Siena swept the doubles competition as well. The Saints finish MAAC play with a 3-5 record. Mayer is now 19-6 in singles play, 14-4 in dual match settings - all at #1.
