UAlbany Ousts Siena in Women's Tennis, 5-2

April 12, 2005

UAlbany won four of six singles matches and swept the doubles competition to earn a 5-2 win over Siena in women's tennis action Tuesday afternoon in Loudonville. All six of the Saints singles players were forced to play up as junior standout Denisa Hluchova continues her recovery from a knee injury.

Freshman Karina Davis earned a 6-2 and 6-3 win at top singles and sophomore Julia Lebedev won 6-1 and 6-4 at second singles to account for the two Siena points.
