The Siena Women's Tennis Team lost it's second match in two days to a MAAC opponent as Fairfield University stopped the Saints 5-2. Siena's only doubles win came at #1 where Nikki Mayer (Latham, NY/Shaker) and Andrea Disponzio (Farmingdale, NY/ Farmingdale) held off Fairfield's #1 team 9-8, taking the tiebreaker 7-5. The singles wins were turned in by Mayer at #1 as she easily defeated Kelly DiMario 6-3, 6-0 and Betsy Brookins (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem), playing #3 who also cruised over the Stags Krissy Fitzpatrick, 6-2, 6-0. For both Mayer and Brookins, the win was their 5th of the season against only one loss.

The Saints have tomorrow off and return to the Siena courts on Saturday to face Nigara University. Match time is scheduled for 1:30PM.
