General: Jessica benefitted from her hard work in the weight room this past year. Being on such a young team, she is going to be asked to play the role of a leader as an experienced upper classman this year. Personal: Daughter of Jim and Paul Asselin...Sister Jennifer is a 2003 graduate of Roger Williams University Chose Siena: "I chose Siena College because I liked the campus, the friendly environment and the science program." Before Siena: Graduated 4th of 120 in her class. An All-League tennis selection three straight years (2005-2007). Helped her 2007 high school team to a 16-1 overall record and a third place finish in the Vermont State Individual Tournament in 2006 2007-2008: Played #2,3,4 singles with a record of 9-17 and 3-4 in the MAAC. Coach's Comments: "Jessica had some good wins in the spring and MAAC Championships. She has all the physical tools to be a very good Division 1 player."
