LOUDONVILLE, N.Y.-- The Siena Saints volleyball team signed its third player in two weeks, inking 5-10 outside hitter Kerry Pease to a national letter-of-intent, the athletic department announced Wednesday.

Pease, a senior at Corning East High School in Corning, N.Y., led her team to the New York State championship tournament in 1999. She joins Katie Sarkovics (North Tonowanda, N.Y./North Tonowanda) and Lauren Weber (Sayville, N.Y./Connetquot, Long Island) as recent student-athletes who have committed to Siena.

"Kerry is a very strong and agile athlete who will immediately be an integral part of offense," Siena Head Coach Ron Racey said. "We feel very fortunate to sign such an outstanding volleyball player and look forward to her contributions to our team."

The Saints finished 1999 with a 12-14 overall record, including a 6-2 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference mark. The Green and Gold advanced to the MAAC Tournament before losing to eventual champion Fairfield in the semifinals.
