Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena women's swimming team defeated Marist college today 72-68 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference meet at Siena Pool.

The Saints were led by Martha Kroll (Oxford, Conn.) who posted first place finishes in the 100 and 50 freestyle. Kroll posted a time of 25.41 in the 50 and 54.86 in the 100 en route to the win. In addition to her individual performance, Kroll was a member of the Saints' 400 freestyle relay team that came in first with a time of 3:42.52, and the 400 Medley Relay that placed second with a time of 4:08.25. Korah Kozel (Johnson City, N.Y.) also turned in a solid effort winning the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:11.18 and the 200 breaststroke with a time of 2:33.28. In addition, Kozel came in second in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:21.03 and swam on the Saints' 400 Medley Relay team that came in second.

The Saints will next be in action at home against Holy Cross on November 8 at 7:00 p.m.
