Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena women's swimming and diving team dropped a rare non-conference meet on Friday evening falling to northeast power Vermont at the Forbush Natatorium in Burlington, Vt. by a 181-113 margin. The setback marked just the third all year long in what has been a memorable season for the now 8-3 Saints.

Freshmen Bridget Rowland and Brittany Pavolko captured the Saints lone individual wins on the afternoon, while junior diver Erin Keys claimed a first place score in 3-meter dives.

Rowland paced the pool in the 100 back (1:01.32), while Pavolko captured a top time in the 100 fly. Pavolko capped off a solid showing with a pair of second place finishes in the 100 free and 200 fly events.

Celebrating their Senior Day, the Catamounts (9-5) broke five pool and two school records in winning their seventh straight meet.

The Saints will return to action for the third time in a five day span when they host MAAC rival Canisius at the Siena Swim Center Sunday. Events are slated to get underway at 1 p.m.
