2007-08: Siena Female Rookie of the Year...Team MVP...Two-time MAAC Swimmer of the Week (10/30, 1/22)...Set three pool and two school records...Recorded 11 top-10 times in the MAAC...Won 17 of 18 individual and relay events, spanning from the Fairfield (10/27) to Vermont (1/19) meet...Tallied 14 individual and five relay first place times...Set pool record in 200 IM (2:13.81) vs. New Hampshire/Niagara (10/20)...Combined to set Siena Swim Center record in the 800 free relay with time of 8:10.82 vs. Sacred Heart (12/1)...Broke pool record with new time of 3:39.97 in the 400 FR in win over Canisius (1/20)...Set school record in the 200 free relay (1:38.14) and broke own school record in the 200 IM (2:12.10) at the MAAC Championships (2/14)...Set school record in 800 FR (8:02.23)...Captured at least one win each in eight individual and relay events (200 IM, 200 MR, 200 free, 100 fly, 200 fly, 400 FR, 200 FR and 100 back).

BEFORE SIENA: A multi-star athlete at Pittsfield...Competed four years in swimming, three in soccer (goalie) and two apiece in track (hurdles, discus) and softball (centerfield)...Appeared in the fly, back, free and IM events for swim coach James Harrington...Massachusetts State Champion in the 100 fly her junior year...Four-time All-Berkshire Swim Team member...Captain of the swim and track teams her senior year.

PERSONAL: Born August 20, 1989...The daughter of Perry and Maureen Pavolko...Has an older brother, John...A social work major who wants to one day work with young children...Chose Siena for, "the opportunity to major in social work and to swim for a Division I team."...Also recruited to swim by Marist.
