William Lajeunesse begins his second year as assistant coach at Siena. Lajeunesse helped coach the Saints to an 11-25 overall record and 9-11 in the league.

This will be coach Lajeunesse's second year on the collegiate level. Lajeunesse has a long and successful track record at several local high schools, including: Waterford, Cohoes, and Shaker.

Lajeunesse has a wide variety of experience in athletics as he has coached soccer, wrestling, softball, and baseball. He graduated from SUNY Brockport in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in Physical Education and received a master's degree in health education from Russell Sage in 1993.

Lajeunesse's recent accomplishments include coaching the Shaker High School softball team to a 17-5 record and a ninth place finish in NYS Class A. He also successfully coached the Adirondack Magic 16 and under and 18 and under teams to the National Final Four in 2005 and 2006 respectively, as well as 10 Invitational Championships from 2003-2006.

Lajeunesse is responsible for a wide array of tasks for coach Parks, including recruiting, scouting, and practice and game preparation.
