 Nine Saints Named to MAAC All-Academic Team

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. - Nine Siena women's soccer players were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team Saturday evening at the league's awards banquet at Walt Disney World. Seniors Christina Macera and Marissa Shibley, juniors Samantha Butzke, Deonna Gould, Cara Riley and Tabitha Tice, and sophomores Ashleigh Barone, Jill Roth and Lindsay Tegas earned this prestigious honor. Christina Macera is a three-time MAAC All-Academic selection. She has a 3.53 cumulative GPA in English. To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
