Tice Proclaimed MAAC Rookie of the Week

Loudonville, N.Y. - Siena freshman forward Tabitha Tice was proclaimed MAAC women's soccer Rookie of the Week this afternoon announced at conference headquarters. Tice posted three goals, including two game winners over a pair of contests last week. This marks her second Rookie of the Week honor this season. On Friday, Tice tallied two goals helping the Saints to a 3-1 league victory over Manhattan. In the 60th minute, she notched what proved to be the game winning goal when she finished on a cross goal service. Then on Sunday, Tice connected on the game winner in just the second minute of action to guide Siena to a 9-0 victory over Saint Peter's. Tice currently leads the Saints and is tied for third in the MAAC with seven goals this season. She is also tied for first in the league with three game winning goals. Tice, a two-time Colonial League Player of the Year, lettered four years at Fayetteville-Manlius. She was named First Team All-Section III Class AA, First Team All-CNY and First Team All-League three times during her tenure at Fayetteville-Manlius.
