LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Siena sophomore Maria DeMatteo was named ECAC Offensive Player of the Week by the league Tuesday evening after scoring three goals and two assists last week. DeMatteo won MAAC Offensive Player of the Week yesterday.

DeMatteo scored the game-winning goal at Holy Cross and had a hand in all three goals against LIU with a goal and two assists. She also scored Siena's lone goal in the fifth minute to earn a 1-1 tie against Wagner.

Additionally, DeMatteo was selected to the Soccer Buzz Elite Team of the Week by SoccerBuzz.com. She was one of 15 players chosen nationally and is the first ever Siena selection.

The Saints return to action Friday at Niagara at 7 p.m.
