Daniel Lindemann Joins Women's Soccer Coaching Staff

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Daniel Lindemann has recently been named assistant women's soccer coach at Siena College. Lindemann brings a wealth of collegiate coaching experience to Loudonville. He joins the staff after spending the past three seasons serving as an assistant for the men's program at Rensselear Polytechnic Institute.

"Dan brings a variety of college coaching and playing experience," head women's soccer coach Steve Karbowski explains. "He has great knowledge of the game, and a tremendous ability to communicate with the players. Dan will be valuable in all aspects of the program from recruiting to developing training sessions and player evaluation."

In his time at RPI, he was responsible for organizing and executing the daily operations of the program. This included scouting opponents and recruiting student-athletes.

Prior to this experience, Lindemann was a men's assistant coach at Southern New Hampshire University. Lindemann achieved immense success in this coaching role. In 2003, he helped guide the team to the NCAA Elite Eight. He also aiding in directing the Penmen to the ECAC championship in 2005.

Lindemann earned his master's degree in business education from Southern New Hampshire in 2003. He was a three year soccer letter winner for the Penmen playing the center back position. He registered seven goals and an assist in his career. Lindemann also advanced to the Elite Eight in two of his three seasons. During his tenure, he helped lead the team to a 45-10-7 overall record.
