Cahalan Wins MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year10/31/09 Freshman forward Caitlin Cahalan won MAAC Co-Rookie of the Year at this evening's 2009 MAAC Women's Soccer Banquet, making it the second consecutive season a Siena player has won the award. Nine Saints Named to MAAC All-Academic Team10/31/09 Nine Siena women's soccer players were named to the MAAC All-Academic Team Saturday evening at the league's awards banquet at Walt Disney World. Seniors Christina Macera and Marissa Shibley, juniors Samantha Butzke, Deonna Gould, Cara Riley and Tabitha Tice, and sophomores Ashleigh Barone, Jill Roth and Lindsay Tegas earned this prestigious honor. Siena Shocked by Marist10/30/09 Amy Tillotson scored the lone goal ('33) to give Marist a 1-0 MAAC Tournament quarterfinal win over Siena Friday afternoon at Disney's Wide World of Sports. The seventh-seeded Red Foxes went right at the second-seeded Saints in the first half, sending through balls to forwards and attacking from the width.
