Sophomore Michelle Eide Named to the WLAX Honor Roll

LOUDONVILLE, NY-- Siena sophomore attack wing Michelle Eide was named to this week's Women's Lacrosse Bert and Ernie Honor Roll as announced by the organization today. Eide claimed the offensive player of the week in the MAAC as well.

Eide (Pearl River, NY) is the Saints leading scorer in three statistical categories leading with 20 goals, eight assists for 28 and has won 15 draw controls, she is second on the team with freshman Katie Ostrye in caused turnovers (11) while teammate Sarah Elliot leads with 19. Eide was honored with the award, for her play against 2004 MAAC Champion Le Moyne, where she scored two goals in the 8-7 double overtime win. Against Sacred Heart, Eide was held scoreless but managed to dish out two assists in the 8-5 loss.

The Saints are currently ranked #1 in the MAAC with a 4-4 overall record, 1-0 league play.
