She shot a three round score of 235. Mannix is just as successful in the classroom, attaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. Shomo (Rutland, Vt./Rutland) finished second individually in the MAAC Championships with a 237. She led Siena golfers in two spring tournaments. Shomo earned a 3.82 GPA during the spring semester and has a 3.67 cumulative GPA. Mannix and Shomo were a part of Siena's 2008 MAAC Championship team. "The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent of all college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50 and student-athletes must have competed in at least 50% (Division I) or 66% (Division II & III) of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year."
