Head coach Dave Wronowski announced the signing of Katelynn Mannix to a binding National Letter of Intent. Mannix was the 2006 New York State Junior Girls Champion. She joins a Siena team that has won seven consecutive MAAC Championships.

"We are thrilled to have Katelynn as a member of the golf program," Wronowski said. "She brings an impressive resume of both state and national tournament experience that will serve her well at the college level."

Mannix, a Plattsburgh, N.Y. native, attends Beekmantown High School.

In addition to her 2006 NYS Junior Girls title she competed in the 2006 Duramed Futures Tour I LOVE NY Championship. She placed in the top-3 at the 2006 Mizuno CJGA Canadian National Golf Championships and posted a first place finish at the IJGT at Architect's Fall.

Mannix also competed in the 2006 Westfield PGA Junior Championship and the Callaway Junior World Golf Championships.

The Siena women's golf team captured its seventh straight MAAC Championship April 29 at Lake Buena Vista, Fla. with a victory over Fairfield.
