Loudonville, N.Y. - Siena women's golfer Katelynn Mannix was named MAAC Women's Golfer of the Month for March this afternoon as announced by league officials. Mannix led the Saints finishing 17th overall in the highly competitive Shamrock Invitational in Tega Cay, S.C. earlier this month.

A native of Plattsburgh, N.Y., Mannix followed up a solid fall campaign with a stellar performance over the weekend in the Palmetto State. Mannix was most impressive during the final round when she fired a score of 74, second best of the round. For the weekend, Mannix shot a three round score of 240.

Mannix and the Saints return to action for their second spring event beginning on Monday with the Georgetown Invitational in Beallsville, Md.
