Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena Women's Golf team defeated cross-town rival UAlbany today in a single round battle at the Edison Club. The Saints took the head-to-head battle by shooting a round of 320, while UAlbany shot 352 for the day.

Senior co-captain Melissa Agostinelli (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas) led all tournament competitors firing a round of 78 (+5). Fellow co-captain Bridget Erwin (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) also had a strong showing shooting a 79.

UAlbany meanwhile placed nobody in the seventies as their top finisher Corrin Conroy shot a +15 (88).

The Saints will continue fall play this weekend when they travel to Piscataway, N.J. for the start of the Rutgers Invitational which begins on Friday.
