Loudonville, N.Y. - Senior co-captain Bridget Erwin (Syracuse, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) fired a team best 80 this afternoon leading the Siena women's golf team to an 8th place finish following First Round play at the Princeton Women's Golf Invitational.

The Saints currently sit in a three-way tie for eighth with Brown and Pennsylvania University following a cumulative team score of 336 on Saturday. Host school Princeton leads the fifteen team field following a Day One score of 301, while second place Columbia sits twelve shots off the lead.

Erwin shot a 39 on the front nine to finish five strokes ahead of teammates Melissa Agostinelli (Rochester, NY/Aquinas) and Katelynn Mannix (Beekmantown, NY/Beekmantown) who each concluded the day with an 85.

Tomorrow's final round will get underway with an 8:00 a.m. tee time for the Saints who will be matched up with Penn and Lehigh.
