First Round Team Results

The Siena women's golf team ranks sixth following the opening round of the Princeton Invitational held at the Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, N.J. The Saints stand within striking distance heading into tomorrow morning's final round at just 16 strokes off the lead.

The Saints shot an impressive composite team score of 314 (+26). Host Princeton placed four of its five participants at +4 or better to take the overall lead into the clubhouse. The Tigers tallied a score of 298, four strokes better than Ivy League foe Harvard which currently ranks second in the 16 team field.

No individual competitor results, including those of Siena golfers, were available at the time of release.

The final round concludes tomorrow with 18 holes scheduled beginning at 8 a.m.
