Siena Men and Women Hold Leads After Second Day of MAAC Golf Championships

The Siena College men's team (593) and the Siena College women's team lead the way after the second round of the 2007 MAAC Men's and Women's Golf Championships at the Magnolia Golf Course in Walt Disney World. Rider University is a close second with 595. Loyola College is in third (598), Iona College (605) was fourth, Niagara University fifth (607), Canisius College was sixth (616), while Fairfield University (617), Saint Peter's College (647), and Manhattan College (653) rounded out the field.

For the women, Siena leads with a team score of 654 after round two of the 54-hole tournament. Fairfield completed the round in second place with a score of 684.

Bryan Bigley shot a 3-under par 69 on Saturday and is alone in third place individually. For the women, Bridget Erwin leads the way with a +15 after two days.

Competition will resume tomorrow with the men teeing off at 6:52 a.m., and the women teeing off at 9:22 a.m.
