Box Score

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. - Freshman forward Heather Connelly scored the game-winning goal with just over three minutes remaining in the first half to lead the Rider Broncs (10-4, 3-1) to victory over the Siena Saints (2-10, 2-4), 1-0, in Lawrenceville Sunday.

Connelly scored the game-winner off of an assist from teammate Meaghan Schweers after 32 minutes of deadlocked play to give the Broncs a one-goal decision over the Saints who are now riding a three-game losing skid.

In the cage for Siena, sophomore Renee Clavette registered 13 saves in the game's entire 70 minutes. Panning across the stat line, the Saints were out-shot 22-1 and attempted just five penalty corners compared the Broncs' mark of 17.

The Saints next travel to Moon Township, Pa. next Sunday to square-off against Robert Morris University. Game is slated for 12 p.m.
