Complete 2008-2009 Siena Women's Basketball Schedule

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference released the 2008-09 women's basketball conference schedule earlier today. Siena's schedule features 27 regular-season games starting November 14 vs. Syracuse.

The Saints will have one MAAC game on TV, an ESPNU match with Rider on January 9 which is part of a doubleheader with the men's team at the Times Union Center.

Siena's MAAC schedule starts with the annual Western New York road trip at Canisius on Friday, December 5 and at Niagara on Sunday, December 7.

The Saints' regular-season concludes at Loyola on Saturday, February 28.

Siena released their non-conference schedule earlier this summer. The Saints open the season with home games against Syracuse (11/14) in Loudonville and against Rhode Island (11/17) at the TUC as part of a doubleheader with the men. The Saints then travel to Boston University (11/20), Eastern Michigan (11/24), and Oakland [Mich.] (11/26). Siena returns home to host Harvard (11/30) for the first of two games this season.

The Saints travel to the University of Southern California to participate in the Women of Troy Basketball Classic. Siena plays Harvard (12/19) for the second time this season and Duke (12/20) during the tournament. Siena hosts James Madison (12/30) in their final non-conference game of the season . The MAAC Tournament returns to the Times Union Center March 5-8.
