With the regular season in the books, the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference has announced the pairings for the upcoming men's and women's basketball tournaments. The Siena women are the No. 5 seed, and the Saints will play 10th -seed Iona at noon on Thursday, March 3. The Saints men are the #10 seed and will play #5 Iona as well in the first round on Thursday, March 4 at 4:30 pm.

The Siena women split with Iona in the regular season, and the Saints are 4-2 against league opponents at HSBC Arena. During the 2001-02 season, the Saints claimed the MAAC regular season champions title as the #1 seed.

On the men's side, the Saints and Gaels also split their games during the 2005 season, with each team winning on its home floor.

All Siena's men's and women's tournament games will be broadcast live on WVCR 88.3 The Saint as well as on the Saint web site at www.wvcr.com.
