Siena Basketball Coaches' Show to Broadcast Live From Serra Hall

Loudonville, N.Y. - This week's edition of the Siena Basketball Coaches' Show will broadcast live Tuesday night from the Serra Dining Hall on the Siena College campus. The show, which will air on Thursday night from 6-7 p.m. on WVCR 88.3 "The Saint," features men's head coach Fran McCaffery and women's head coach Gina Castelli. Junior guard Kenny Hasbrouck and senior tri-captain Melissa Manzer will serve as this week's player guests.

The event is free and open to the general public and will preview the stretch runs for the men's and women's teams. The men are fresh off a Bracketbuster win over Boise State this weekend in Idaho and have a pair of MAAC games remaining with Senior Day against Niagara on Friday, before the regular season finale Sunday at Saint Peter's. The Saints enter the week in a four-way tie for first atop the MAAC Standings.

The Siena women meanwhile are coming off a big Senior Day win over a 19-win Fairfield team on Sunday at the Alumni Recreation Center. The Saints conclude the regular season on Friday at Rider in a nationally televised broadcast airing on ESPNU at 4:30 p.m.

The show will also preview next week's MAAC Tournament which takes place March 6-10. The Saints are hosting the tournament this year on both the men's and women's side at Times Union Center.

Tickets will be distributed from 4-6 p.m. at Serra Hall for Dog Pound members only for the men's game against Niagara Friday in which senior guard Tay Fisher will be honored in a pregame ceremony.

At the show their will be an "open mic" allowing fans the opportunity to pose a question to either head coach or player. Fans that are unable to attend the show can still send in their question for the broadcast by utilizing the "Ask the Coach" feature at SienaSaints.com.
