Final Stats

Senior Jeremy Deuel posted a 6-1, 4-6 and 10-2 tiebreaker win at top singles and classmate Nick Rutherford won 6-1 and 6-4 at #2 singles to pace Siena's 7-0 win over Hartford in Connecticut Saturday. Freshman Jarrett Siwiec started his career strong with a 6-4 and 6-4 win at #3 singles.

The Saints began the match by sweeping the doubles competition. Deuel and Rutherford combined for an easy 8-2 win at top doubles, Siwiec and Kevin Gioia also posted an 8-2 win at #2 doubles and twins Jay and Nick Godbole won 8-4 at #3 doubles.

Jay Godbole and Gioia each won their singles matches as well. Stefan Putyera blanked Fil Miletic 6-0 and 6-0 at #6 singles to complete the shutout. The Saints home opener, scheduled for Sunday against Holy Cross has been postponed.
