 Men's Tennis Streaks Past Saint Peter's

The Siena men's tennis team completed a MAAC weekend sweep with a hard fought 4-3 win at Saint Peter's late Sunday night. Top man Jeremy Deuel continued his solid play with a win at #1 singles and #2 doubles. Deuel defeated Serge Iguel 6-1 and 7-5 at top singles and classmate Nick Rutherford won 4-6, 6-2 and 7-6 (2) in a critical match at #2 singles to lead the way. Kevin Gioia won a three-set match at #5 singles for the Saints and Jose Loren completed his perfect weekend with a 6-3 and 6-4 win at #6 singles and a victory at #2 doubles. The Saints complete MAAC play Sunday with a home match against Niagara.
