Jose Loren was born on July 4, 1986. Coming from a family of two sisters and one brother, Jose is the proud son of Jose and Josefa, hailing from the Bronx. He is a graduate of LaGuardia High School and received a diploma in fine arts. Jose is a Marketing Management major and chose to attend Siena because of its renown business reputation. Before Siena, Jose played the # 1 position on his high school team, leading them to the play-offs all four years. Jose is a 2-time bronze and silver medalist at the Empire State Games and also placed fifth in the AAU Juior Olympics.

On his spare time, Jose likes to volunteer his services as a Big brother in the Siena Mentoring program. He is also a member of the Black and Latino Student Union. Jose Loren wishes to continue his success as a member of the Siena College Men's Tennis Team.
