LOUDONVILLE, NY. - Joma Burton's second goal of the game 3:33 into overtime gave visiting Oneonta State (5-3-1, 0-2 Atlantic) a 2-1 victory over Siena (2-6-1, 0-1 MAAC) Wednesday afternoon.

Burton opened the scoring 34:40 into the ball game beating Siena goalie Andrew Sether (Garden City, NY/Valley Stream South) 30 yards from the goal and then putting the ball away into the empty net.

The Saints answered back, dominating play in the second half. Siena finally broke through less than 10 minutes into the second half when sophomore Ryan Slater (Fairport, NY/Fairport) scored on a direct kick. The goal was Slater's first of the season.

The teams went back and forth over the final 30 minutes with each team putting pressure on the opposing net. Sether, who had seven saves, made a spectacular diving stop with 15 minutes left in the second half to preserve the tie, while on the other end, Siena kept continuous pressure on Dragons goalie James Riley, who finished with five saves.

Siena plays twice over the weekend, hosting Manhattan Saturday and St. Peter's Sunday. Kickoff for both games is set for 3:30 pm at Saints Field.
