Men's Soccer Adds Anthony Tagliaferri
March 29, 2006 LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Head men's soccer coach Charlie Curto announced the team has received a binding national letter of intent from Anthony Tagliaferri to attend Siena beginning in September of 2006. The West Sayville, N.Y., native was a standout midfielder and forward at St. John the Baptist High School. "Anthony is a talented player, who can come in here and help improve our offense," said Curto. "This signing bolsters our depth and adds a different dimension to our future squad. He brings with him experience playing on an elite Premier Team and has been part of the Olympic Development Team." Tagliaferri played for the nationally touted Commack ISA Premier team. From 2000-2004 here was a member of the Long Island Olympic Developmental Program. He was a two-year captain and four-year starting player at St. John the Baptist. Tagliaferri was an All Catholic League Seletion in 2003 and 2004.
