Loudonville, N.Y. - New Siena men's soccer head coach Gareth Elliott announced earlier today the dates for the Saints' spring soccer games. The Green and Gold will entertain Elliott's alma mater Rhode Island and also host Binghamton, while heading on the road for a meeting with cross-town rival UAlbany.
The Saints begin play on Saturday (Mar. 29) with their first game at Siena Turf Field against URI. Game time is slated for 4 p.m. Elliott spent five seasons as an assistant with the Rams following his storied playing career before being named head coach of the Saints earlier this winter. Assistant coach Ahmad Manning is also a former graduate and soccer standout of Rhode Island.
Eight days later on Sunday Apr. 6. Siena will host Binghamton before rounding out spring play against the Great Danes on Apr. 19 in Albany. Those games are both set to kick-off at 1 p.m.
All home games are free and open to the general public who are encouraged to attend.
