LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - Head men's soccer coach Charlie Curto announced the team has received a binding national letter of intent from Kevin Gluchowski to attend Siena beginning in September of 2006. The Carmel, N.Y., native was a standout defender for Mahopac High School.

"Kevin can step in and contribute immediately, he has the potential to be an impact player" said men's soccer head coach Charlie Curto. "Going into the off-season, we circled defense as an area that we had to upgrade in. With the addition of Gluchowski and Gregory Young, we feel we have addressed that issue and can't wait to get out on the field and work with this team."

Gluchowski had been recruited by Vermont and Fairfield amongst other Division I programs. During his junior and senior season, he was named to the All-League and All-Section teams. The defensive specialist was a member of the 4-time New York State Cup Champion New Rochelle Raiders. In 2005, his club team was Region I Champions and placed 3rd in Nationals that were held in Orlando Florida.

Gluchowski joins a Saints team that is losing two of their defensive leaders in Alejandro Vazquez and T.J. Helly.
