Men's Soccer Battles Rider to a Scoreless Tie

Loudonville, N.Y. - Men's soccer battled Rider to a scoreless tie this afternoon in Lawrenceville, N.J. Senior goaltender Patrick Henry (LaGrangeville, N.Y./Arlington) registered his second shutout of the year. The Saints move to 1-4-1 in league play. The Broncs mounted their offensive attack in the first 90 minutes. Rider outshot the Saints 20-14 in regulation. Rider goaltender Daniel Riverso posted five saves in his third shutout of the season. Siena battled hard for the game winner in the overtime session. They outshot the Broncs 7-3, but could not add the deciding goal. Henry posted 10 saves on the game which moves him into fourth place all-time in career saves (281). Henry is 2-7-1 on the year, with 72 saves. The Saints return to action Friday versus Canisius at 3 p.m. on Siena Field. Siena welcomes Niagara to Loudonville on Sunday in a 1 p.m. start.
