Final Stats

Loudonville, N.Y. - The Saints fell 3-0 at Loyola this afternoon in league play. Loyola posted three first half goals to improve to 3-1-0 in MAAC play. The Greyhounds outshot the Saints 14-2. Loyola posted a goal at 3:35 which proved to be the game winner.

Loyola tallied their first goal in just the fourth minute of action. Forward Omar Alfonso extended the lead to two in the seventh minute when freshman Jamie Darvill served him a cross in the box. Alfonso sent the header past goaltender Patrick Henry (LaGrangeville, N.Y./Arlington). Darvill added a third goal in the 21st minute when he lobbed it into the back of the net.

Henry added five saves in 76 minutes of action. On the year, Henry tallied 62 saves and holds a .697 save percentage.

The Saints fall to 2-11-1 on the season. They travel to Rider on Sunday in a 2 p.m. start. They return home Friday to face Canisius on Siena Field at 3 p.m.
