Loudonville, N.Y. - Men's soccer was upended by Iona 4-0 this afternoon in New Rochelle, N.Y. Four different Gaels scored in 90 minutes of action. The Saints were outshot 12-6 in the contest.

In the 11th minute, midfielder Felipe Faundez took a pass from Nick Smaldone and put it past goaltender Patrick Henry (LaGrangeville, N.Y./Arlington) to put the Gaels up 1-0. Henry registered three saves in 71 minutes in net.

Defenseman Brian Oelkers netted the second goal when he blasted a shot from 25 yards out at 26:49. Aly Lo scored his first goal of the year in the 52nd minute when he lobbed a low-angle shot past Henry. Fernando Liserra capped off the scoring when he sent a chip shot over the Saints defense that found the back of the net at 67:32.

Siena drops to 1-8-1 on the year and are 0-2-0 in conference play. They return to action Friday versus Manhattan at 3:00 p.m. on Siena Field. Iona improves to 4-3-4/1-0-1 and takes on Fairfield Friday at 1:00 p.m.
