Steve Wieczorek enters his first season at Siena College where his primary role will be working with the goalkeepers. He will also be responsible for recruiting in the Northeast as well as day-to-day operations of the program.

"I am delighted to have Steve on board," said Elliott. "His experience, energy and enthusiasm will be a huge addition to our staff. I look forward to seeing the progress of the goalkeepers under his guidance."

Prior to Siena, Wieczorek spent two seasons at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, where he helped the team reach the NCAA DII National Tournament in 2007. At Bridgeport, Wieczorek coached the goalkeepers, recruited potential student-athletes, scouted opponents, and helped with daily operations of the program.

Wieczorek coached from 2004-2006 at Greens Farms Academy. He was the assistant boy's varsity coach and trained the goalkeepers from both the boys and girls varsity teams.

In 2004, Wieczorek coached the goalkeepers at his alma mater Fairfield University. He was a member of two NSCAA Top 25 teams in 2000 and 2001, each of those teams reaching the MAAC finals.

Wieczorek is currently an Assistant Director with Tony DiCicco's Soccer Plus Goalkeeper school, and has coached youth soccer in Fairfield, Easton, Monroe and with South Central Premier's Development Academy Team in Connecticut.

Wieczorek earned his bachelor's degree in English and his master's in curriculum and instruction from Fairfield University. He holds a NSCAA National Diploma and NSCAA National Goalkeeping Diploma.
