Eric Wolf Named Men's Lacrosse Assistant Coach

July 11, 2008

LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. - The Siena athletic department recently named Eric Wolf (Baldwin, N.Y.) men's lacrosse assistant coach.

Wolf arrives from UAlbany where he was the men's lacrosse director of operations last year. His administrative duties included breaking down film and practice preparation.

"Eric will be a welcomed addition to the staff in the day to day operations of the Siena Lacrosse office," said head coach Brian Brecht. "Eric brings a great offensive mind to our staff as a starting attackman for Albany in 2007 when his team reached the NCAA Division I quarterfinals and was one overtime goal away from making the Final Four. I am very excited to add someone of Eric's playing experience to the staff as it is exciting to head into the fall with a full staff ready to prepare for the upcoming season both on the field and with recruiting."

Wolf played four years of varsity lacrosse at UAlbany, appearing in 62 games. During his career, the Great Danes won three America East Championships and earned three NCAA Tournament appearances.

Wolf earned his bachelor's degree in sociology from UAlbany in 2007.
