Siena Lacrosse Volunteers at Youth Clinic

Siena men's and women's lacrosse players volunteered as coaches for a youth lacrosse clinic on Sunday at Siena Turf Field. MVP Healthcare sponsored the event which was open to kids of all ages. Lacrosse legend and current Syracuse women's head lacrosse coach Gary Gait led the activities including a shooting demo with Saints goalkeeper and 2009 All-America honorable mention Brent Herbst. A Season to Remember

Siena made history this season, winning its first MAAC Championship and earning its first NCAA Tournament bid in program history. The Saints wrapped up their third consecutive 10-win season on Saturday, April 25 with an 8-5 win at Providence. The win marked Siena's 10th of the season as it finished an unblemished 8-0 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. In Siena's previous game, the Saints clinched the MAAC regular season title and the No. 1 seed in the MAAC Tournament with a 13-7 win at Marist. More [+]

Brent Herbst Named All-America by USILA

Siena men's lacrosse goalkeeper Brent Herbst was named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division I All-America Team as an Honorable Mention selection for the first time in his career Thursday morning. Herbst finished the season second in the nation in GAA (6.34) and fourth in save percentage (.617). The only other Siena men's lacrosse player to earn All-America is Tony Asterino (1981 Honorable Mention). More [+]
