Port Washington, N.Y. - The Siena men's golf team placed ninth out of 13 teams at the Hofstra Spring Invitational at the Harbor Links Golf Club. The Saints finished with a 648 (320-328) team total on the par 72, 6,927 yard layout. Towson University took home first-place team honors with a 605 two day total.

Siena's top finisher was Chris Rousseau (Feeding Hills, Mass./Agawam) who fired rounds of 76 and 80 to finish in a tie for 14th place. Luke Esposito (Fayetteville, N.Y./CBA) finished two shots behind Rousseau with a 158. Esposito turned in rounds of 80 and 78 to finish in a tie for 20th. Rounding out the scoring for the Saints was Shane McMahon (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) who finished in a tie for 26th with a 160 (77-83) and Tim Sheehan (Mechanicville, N.Y./Mechanicville) who posted back-to-back rounds of 87 to finish in a tie for 51st.

Fordham's Tim Moynihan took home individual medalist honors with a two-over-par 146 (71-75) after defeating Quinnipiac's Mike Mahan in a playoff.
