Siena men's golf head coach Tom Wronowski was named MAAC Coach of the Year. Wronowski guided the Saints to their second straight MAAC Championship and NCAA berth. The Saints also had six golfers named to the MAAC Golf All-Academic Teams.

Wronowski wins the award for the second time in three seasons. Siena captured this year's MAAC Championship with an eight stroke victory over Loyola College.

The MAAC also announced its men's and women's golf MAAC All-Academic Teams. Siena had three men and three women named to the team.

Senior Bryan Bigley - who tied for the individual low in the MAAC Championships - highlighted the men's list. Bigley, an English major from Rotterdam, carries a 3.49 GPA. He was joined on the team by classmates Dennis Gosier (Gansevoort - 3.68 Psychology) and Allen Parker (Blandfors, Mass. - 3.21 Creative Arts).

Seniors Megan Angis (Saco, Maine - 3.33 Marketing and Management), Samantha Rossi (Schenectady - 3.34 Mathematics) and Laura Woolgar (Pearl, River, N.Y. - 3.67 Psychology) were the Siena representatives on the women's team.

The Siena women won their seventh straight MAAC Championship - topping Fairfield by 63 strokes. The Siena men earned their second NCAA Tournament berth. They will learn where they are headed on May 7.
