Loudonville, N.Y. - The Siena Men's Golf team concluded their fall season with a third place finish at the Lehigh Invitational this afternoon in Saucon Valley, Pa. Freshman Don DeNyse III (Albany, N.Y./Christian Brothers Academy) paced the Saints finishing second overall for the weekend with rounds of 73 and 78 respectively.

The University of Pennsylvania swept both the overall and individual championships, finishing five strokes better than second place Bucknell. The Quakers Michael Blodgett shot a 150 overall, denying DeNyse his first individual title by a mere stroke.

Junior co-captain Dan Abbondandolo (Oyster Bay Cove, N.Y./St. Dominic), who had won each of the previous two tournaments, capped off a solid fall season finishing second amongst Siena competitors and in a tie for fourteenth overall.

Following a strong fall season in which the Saints won the Hofstra Invitational among other highlights, Siena will break until the start of the spring season. The Saints will announce their spring lineup at a later date.
