Senior Bryan Bigley tied for the second best individual round of the day with a 36-hole 146 (+2) helping the Siena men's golf team to a fifth place finish after the first day of competition in the Mt. St. Mary's Spring Invitational Friday afternoon in Maryland. The Saints total of 606 is just one stroke behind fourth place Iona and two behind third place Temple.

Longwood University is the leader in the clubhouse with a 586, while host Mt. St. Mary's stands second with a 595.

Bigley was joined in Siena's top-five by Alex Arrigo (148) who tied for seventh overall, Dan Abbondandolo (153), Dennis Gosier (160) and Allen Parker (161).

The Tournament will be completed Saturday afternoon.
